Best in the State!
In case you missed today’s Kingsport Times-News article, the Tri-Cities region has been selected as the 77th best place to live in the United States and has also been chosen as the best place to live in Tennessee. This ranking comes from the 2005 Sperling’s Best Places list. Our lovely area ranked above some of Tennessee’s major cities, such as Nashville and Knoxville. Sperling cited our area as having a low cost of living, low crime rate, low commute times, and wonderful climate; the publishers only mentioned a lack of culture and art activity in the region, which was redeemed by cultural events at nearby colleges. If you are from the Tri-Cities, today is your day to shine! Be proud to live in the greatest metro area in Tennessee!
