A developing story:

MEMPHIS (AP) — The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation on Wednesday joined a probe into the special state Senate election won by the sister of former Sen. John Ford of Memphis. The TBI was called in by the Memphis district attorney after The Commercial Appeal newspaper reported that in an election decided by just nine votes, two voters recorded as casting ballots in September actually died weeks before. The state has certified the victory for Ophelia Ford, a Democrat, but Republican challenger Terry Roland continues to press his claims of widespread election wrongdoing.
