Cost of Living: Tri-Cities, TN-VA vs. Florida

February 17th, 2006 - by Jeff Fleming

In previous mailings, we established that the cost of living in Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia is better than that of NC, SC and GA.

Now, how about Florida?  No doubt, Florida is absolutely beautiful and its lifestyle is awesome!

But with its history of explosive growth, traffic, skyrocketing insurance rates, and catastrophic weather patterns, could it be time to consider an alternative?

Why not live in the beautiful mountains of Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia instead?

It’s smack dab in the middle of the eastern United States, halfway between your family back home in the Midwest, Mid Atlantic or New England and those in Florida.

Plus, you’ll be surrounded by some of the nicest people on earth!
