NEW UPDATES
Some of you may have noticed that the site has been down for a few hours. Well, we recently upgrading things and added new features to the site. These updates will bring the site closer to the original vision by offering a place for users to voice their opinions, etc.
The update is not complete, but far enough along that I feel comfortable in letting people use the site. You may notice that some stories or users are missing, but they will be migrated over slowly. If you have an account with etricites you will receive a new password., but if you can’t wait, please feel free to create a new one. I will be watching as to not overwrite newer ones with the old ones.
Now for the juice!!! You can now create your own blog on etricities.com. Thats right, when you signup you can choose a “title” for your blog and you will have access to use title.etricities.com as your domain. It is completely free and is powered by Wordpress! Right now only one theme is available, but I will be adding new themes, plugins, etc. in coming weeks. Please suggest themes and plugins that you might like to use.
So, go ahead, signup and get blogging!

etricities.com is YOUR new source for information in the East Tennessee area, and when we say your we me YOUR. etricities.com is the first information outlet in the Tri-Cities area that allows the users (you) to contribute information. In etricities.com you may find information about events, politics, sports, opinions, technology, business news, school news, etc. The possibilities are endless!
Have a blog. Want to be syndicated?
Now etricities will syndicate your feed. When users visit etricities they will see stories from your blog that match categories in etricities. Becoming syndicated is easy. Simply Register, then login in and edit your profile by filling in the “website” box with your web address. We will then review your site for approval.
If you live in or have ties to Bristol, Elizabethton, Erwin, Johnson City, Jonesborough, Kingsport and surrounding communities in Tennessee, we want to hear fom you.
