A Tree of Remembrance

A Tree of Remembrance will be located at each of Wellmont¹s five
hospitals ­ Bristol Regional Medical Center, Holston Valley Medical
Center, Lonesome Pine Hospital, Hawkins County Memorial Hospital and
Hancock County Hospital. Tree-lighting ceremonies will be held Monday,
Dec. 12, at 6:30 p.m. at Bristol Regional, Holston Valley, Lonesome Pine
and Hancock County. A tree-lighting ceremony will be held Monday, Dec.
12 at 4:30 p.m. at Hawkins County Memorial.

The Mountain Empire Children’s Choral Academy, consisting of the East Tennessee Children’s Choir and Highlands Youth Ensemble, will perform a Christmas concert, “Sweet Christmas Suite,” at 7 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 3, 2005, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 800 Broad St., Kingsport. The concert will feature a variety of secular and sacred Christmas classics.

Bluegrass @ The Down Home

This event will be a live recording of the ETSU BLuegrass Pride Band Featuring special guests. Greenhouse Open House on November 29th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the
Dobyns-Bennett High School Greenhouse. Poinsettias and wreaths will be
available for sale as well as various house plants. Refreshments will

The Erwin Christmas Parade

November 26th) will feature a UNION FLOAT
supporting the CWA (Communications Workers of America). Union folks are requested to come and show support for these Sprint workers. Be at White’s Grocery at 9:30 AM.

Erwin is small, you won’t miss it!

Steelworkers Local 9-655 (Erwin, TN) will be out in force to support their union brothers and sisters in fighting for a contract that provides job security and a living wage.
