A Tree of Remembrance will be located at each of Wellmont¹s five
hospitals ­ Bristol Regional Medical Center, Holston Valley Medical
Center, Lonesome Pine Hospital, Hawkins County Memorial Hospital and
Hancock County Hospital. Tree-lighting ceremonies will be held Monday,
Dec. 12, at 6:30 p.m. at Bristol Regional, Holston Valley, Lonesome Pine

The Mountain Empire Children’s Choral Academy, consisting of the East Tennessee Children’s Choir and Highlands Youth Ensemble, will perform a Christmas concert, “Sweet Christmas Suite,” at 7 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 3, 2005, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 800 Broad St., Kingsport. The concert will feature a variety of secular and sacred Christmas classics.

The Bill Perkins Quintet will be performing Thursday, Dec. 1 at Stir Fry Cafe in Johnson City, TN. Show begins at 8pm and their is no cover.

If anyone is in the Mountian Empire Region there will be a much anticipated concert which will be held at the Down Home on West Main Street in Johnson City, TN. This event will be a live recording of the ETSU BLuegrass Pride Band Featuring special guests. Come and be a part of this live event on December 1st 8:00am General $8.00 and with an ETSU Student ID $6.00. Please come out and support the program!
