The recent rain and snow that we have seen has raised water levels in the local rivers. Below some locals are enjoying the higher waters.
We had our first barely measurable amount of snowfall last week. Will we actually get some accumulation tonight? I sure miss the snows that we received when I was younger. We haven’t had a decent amount of snow in years.

Keeping with the cooking theme, here is a video of a Free “class” offered every Monday night at the Food City located in The Crown Point Shopping Center on Eastman Road in Kingsport.
Culinary View is a new cooking show that is based is Kingsport. They actually get cooking around the 9:30 mark and the first part is pretty much an advertisement for the Kingsport Country Club. This may be a cool cooking show, but it is a little weird that they chose a deep fried dish to kick the show of with. I look forward to seeing episode 2.
Below is a video of a church in Gray having fun on Back Bone Rock in Johnson County. If you have not been there, it is a beautiful winding drive to get there.
Checkout this footage from 1978. Some talent is better that others, but it is neat to see old footage of the area. So far my money is on James Ford.
